My replay to supervisors who were always screaming at me to hurry up and finish was, "do yo want it done fast, or do you want it done right? You can't have both!" Management usually backed off when I said this. Yeah, it's only gotten worse as the years have gone on too. It's all about spe...

And the funny ironic thing. Is I love to cook. But I hate eating out. I'm always cooking, it's partly one of my special interest which makes it easier for me to cook. My problem is that I love to cook. I am not too fond of eating. Because it's a sensation thing. I like the thought of making somethin...

A lot of these threads and programs. Always focus on one thing. Social skills in the work force. But it's not just social skills. It's the pace. If I cannot do anything at the one speed I know which is Autyspeed. There's no heck in way I am going to get the work done in time. I worked so many differ...

Well all my emotions are layered through a bunch of logical BS is what my ex girlfriend tells me. The real reason behind an emotion is always layered by a defense mechanism. And I guess this defense mechanism comes out in the way I express myself as well. Except that I am really good at emoting in t...

I am nowhere near as bad as some people. But I like to write. It's both my escapism, but it's my dream to become an author. It hinders my relationship with someone I really love. She's very supportive and I cannot give her any more. Because I feel the most connected to her when I write. But she gets...

And here I'm a 26 year old man, whose about to explain he has crying meltdowns when his routine is changed. It's embarrassing, but it's not something I can instantaneously control either. It just happens. Routine and structure is a very important thing and I have expectations of how things should be...

^A lot good that does when no one even understands what the word means in the context of the modern world. Sometimes things need to be adapted and changed. For clarification.

I most definitely believe I have a disorder, regardless of how others want to view it. The social issues could be explained by a "difference" rather than a disorder, I suppose. Those with high-functioning ASD do usually communicate, but differently. However, the sensory issues, poor execu...

Disorder: a disruption of normal physical or mental functions. Disorder doesn't imply something is wrong with people, and in the definition, there is a disruption in Autism. A disruption of behavior. A disruption in the way we tick. And beyond that, and boy I am going to get a lot of flack for this,...

Whoever came up with these names, clearly doesn't understand the naming scheme of things. I understand the reason why the disorders were named the way they were. Because of the two famous guys who discovered them. But they do nothing to help people. I much prefer Neural Developmental Behavioral Diso...

I am on medical welfare. So the welfare pays for my therapy and things of that nature. I am living the American Dream on welfare.

It's weird I had this conversation with my therapist just yesterday. But I think the matter of life and death is up to the individual. Suicide is a symptom of the failures of our system, not a failure of an individual. We continually try to fix the symptom of something, we don't ever try to fix the ...

I don't want to vote because Crying meltdowns are still pretty bad. They leave me drained for like two days. They aren't fun.

Am I the only that needs a flexible schedule, that allows me to work at my best? Problem is I have trouble in jobs because of my seriousness to my commitments. I put in a lot of hardwork in a lot of my jobs too the point I get Autistic Burnout. An 8hr shift back to back to back doesn't work for me, ...
