I don't know about the "grooves" It's almost like there's a higher level of gravitation pull around un-moving escalators it seems. I don't know what it is! I have stairs and never run into that problem, but around escalators it's like your legs start to get heavier. Maybe the subconscious mind is so...

Loud noises especially:
I might add: The vacuum cleaner really terrified me as a toddler, and the reason being because of my very sensitive hearing but over time you do tend to adapt to the noise.

seems to be a common stereotype that people with AS are great at computers or music. I haven't met many who are. I certainly am not good with computers and can't play any instruments. The reason for that stereotype is because we spend far far longer on a particular something, than the average human...
