I just now read a very interesting article that should have been titled "How anti-Jewish and anti-immigrant bigotry was one of the causes of the Great Depression," but instead has the more boring title of The Bank of United States, East European Jews and the Lost World of Immigrant Banking...

To Yugoslav1945: It has occurred to me to wonder if there might be a misunderstanding in this thread due to a language barrier.

What is your understanding of what the word "mandatory" means in this context?

The idea of transitions being "mandatory" just doesn't make sense.

Closely related to Protocols -style grand-conspiracy claims is the idea that the world is secretly run by a cabal of Jewish bankers , e.g the Rothschilds (a European Jewish banking family, who in reality are far from being the world's wealthiest bankers). Various right wing groups have advocated gra...

I came across the following just now, in Is It Time for the Jews to Leave Europe? by Jeffrey Goldberg, The Atlantic , April 2015: Others noted that life in Israel is not especially tranquil. Jews die violently in Israel, too. And while the presence of so many Jews in one narrow place has created a d...

I'll now post links to some resources for debunking Holocaust denial. The Holocaust is one of the best-documented war crimes in all of recorded history. The Nazis themselves documented it in detail, albeit with a thin veil of euphemisms. Many World War II historians have studied it in detail since t...

Much of today's all-too-popular grand conspiracy ideology is based on The Protocols of the Elders of Zion , first published in Russia in the early 1900's. According to the Holocaust Encyclopedia , on the website of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum: The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is t...

Lately I've posted quite a few threads denouncing Israel, its behavior in the war in Gaza, and its treatment of Palestinians more generally. But I certainly do NOT want to see American Christian Zionism get replaced by a return to traditional hatred of Jews. I want a world in which Jews, Palestinian...

The QAnon variant of the traditional anti-Jewish blood libel is now being used against Jews of the Chabad movement. See the separate thread Secret Tunnel Under New York Synagogue Sparks Chaotic Scenes, beginning with this post.

Unfortunately, while I certainly don't agree that anti-Zionism is necessarily motivated by hatred of Jews, it appears that there do exist neo-Nazis and other general anti-Jewish bigots who disguise themselves as Palestinians, or as pro-Palestinian activists, as a way to try to make themselves look r...

Another large, international Christian Zionist organization has the vague and misleading name of " Bridges for Peace ." I say misleading, because a true "bridge for peace" would acknowledge the harms suffered by people on both sides and try to develop solutions that address the n...
