The body camera footage showed the boy chasing a police officer with a large bladed garden tool. It seems to me like the shooting was in self defense. It's kinda hard to protect yourself against a bladed weapon other than keeping your distance. Was the officer supposed to just keep running from the ...

That has not been my experience most of the time with the SSA and the DMV. I have no experience with the USVA. The DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) in New Work was kind of nightmarish. They did have a person at the front to answer questions, but you had to know what questions to ask and they were...

You're not wrong that many people are in relationships and marriages by 30 but... Some people aren't. Relationships end. Marriages break down. I don't mean that's what you should be going for but the reality is that people don't always stay in the couples they form in their 20s - people are still f...

I'm wondering if having bad sinus headaches for a few days in a row could cause someone who does not have bipolar disorder to experience symptoms of a low grade manic phase that last a couple weeks after the person is feeling physically better :? Maybe it'll be a good idea to increase my OCD medicat...

What possible need would there be for THAT?
The idea could be usefull for some older theme spy movies. Like James Bond swallows his gadgets when he gets captured or getting strip-seached before being granted access to something

I met my current girlfriend when we were both 29 & she was close to 30. I had kinda felt like there weren't a lot of women around my age who were single without kids & interested in relationships with men. I tried to find ways to expand my odds like being open to younger women, women with va...

Am often tempted to tell white lies about things, but I dont even follow through to actually do that. But as someone above pointed out -folks project their own mendacity onto me all of the time, and falsely accuse me of lying. One lady I used to work with would accuse me of having motives...that I ...

I'm very honest & open online probably due to the anonymity aspect. However I'm more closed off offline & sometimes not very honest. I got in trouble a lot in Elementary school & I was often assumed to be lying when I was telling the truth about things. It was partly related to my classm...

I just think that women and men have a different way of communicating I think this is the case sometimes. It's common in sitcoms for women to be upset by men due to misinterpreting something a guy said. This happend to me in real life some. I'm used to others putting words in my mouth so to speak. ...

How would you react if you woke up in someone else's body in a strange house? It would depend on whose body and in which 'house'. • A convicted murderer in a 'house' on Death Row?  Not well at all. • A junkie in shanty on Skid Row?  Not much better. • A Mexican drug lord in a Cabo mansion?  Not ver...

Is there a term for the gender opposite version of mansplaining :?: Womansplaining is a thing, though feminists contend that it can't exist because of a power imbalance in favour of men... the patriarchy - or something, I think. Me & my girlfriend are both feminists but not radical & we bot...

I fell into psychotic depression when I was 20. Like TP mentioned, bipolar disorder & PTSD can include psychosis. I also think delusional disorders could include some psychosis features
