If an American WP-er is willing to set up a paypal account, even if they have to keep it out of this forum (maybe a Facebook group?) please send me a message, I would also like to help.

No wonder you are attracted to others! You are in a lonely sexless marriage with someone who is verbally abusive. I'd say its time he started doing something to fix the marriage. +1. I wouldn't address a stray dog in that manner, much less a life partner. I agree and yes, I'm a man. Your marriage s...

I'm an organ donor but in the circumstances you describe, no I wouldn't. I'm sorry you're dealing with this, think about it carefully and don't allow others to influence you.

Maybe look for a vintage pair?

Sometimes blind people wear very dark glasses, you could also buy one of those.

I have yet to encounter a convincing argument for why envy should be considered a virtue... So have I and still it seems to become more and more accepted on account of "everybody does it". I don't see why hating the rich is seen as so much more acceptable if not even laudable than hating the poor. ...

Participation in religious service in itself doesn't even make you religious, as Chesterton put it “Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.”

And I also agree with the rest of your post.

I can see the point people make when advising you to save as much as you can, but if I were in your shoes I would move out. There are a variety of skills you can gain from living independently, not easy to acquire otherwise, especially being autistic, and in my experience, the sooner you get them th...

ShamelessGit , I recommend you talk to a professional that can explain to you what are the life long consequences of being raped "just one time" (for men as well as women), the family of the victim too as they'll suffer as well. I have a choice who I sleep with and also what kind of protection I us...

Look, kid, from all the "PUA" apologists (they went by different names back in the day) I've ever had the misfortune to see around, your presentation is the most unconvincing, pathetic, ignorant, ridiculous to the point of hilarity, not to mention absurd and hypocritical when paired with how you rep...

When you meet a new girl, establish kino up front. Touch her. Don't friendzone yourself. And hope she doesn't carry pepper spray. Well you need to be confident. You can't do it awkwardly or she will think you are creepy. Sure, going around groping women is the best way to not be creepy ...

l would be very, very careful with this, even if you don't use sweets, it might create a long term unhealthy relationship with food or even lead to an eating disorder.

Edit : Don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way an optimist and I know how bad it can get. Life is much easier if you just exist. But you have Aspergers, so you're already an outsider and probably treated as such, and if you're already paying the price for not being like others, at least you could ge...

The perfectionistic thinking I tend to run into is wrong thinking. I think it's because of black-and-white thinking - either it's perfect or it's all wrong and doesn't matter. I know that's not true, it's Asperger-related thinking. I get it, I've been there, but seem to have outgrown it to some ext...

I think Oscar Wilde said that to live is the rarest thing in the world, most people just exist. Maybe that's where your thoughts stem from, you look around you and see that everybody else is content with just existing. I think we all have a choice between the two, but most make it without being awar...

Schneekugel, you have SUCH a way with words! :flower: Seconded and I agree with every word :) As a man, I'm very bothered to be seen as being entirely at the mercy of my instincts, incapable of any self control and this is a myth perpetuated mostly by men. I might not be able to control some urges ...
