My room is a damn mess. Since I'm off tomorrow I should devote part of the day towards cleaning some of it.
That cashier at the gas station told me not to worry about paying for my fountain drink. |

Can sensory issues change with age? I have worked at a grocery store for four whole years. I have recently begun using noise reduction earplugs to cope with sensory issues with sound. I had mistaken these sensory issues for anxiety for three years. However, the first year of this job I actually cann... |

I just have so very little social capacity these days. The way I get along with people best is on forums through a loose style of communication. I already have a couple friends who message me regularly and I can't really handle any more than that. |

Today I went to a restaurant that my sister works at. I went by myself. During the course of the day, I had done 4 hours of work at my job, helped a friend accommodate a new pet and did some shopping for her. I took a nap. When I woke up I decided to make the trek down to the restaurant. (It's fairl... |

do people with adhd not feel effects of caffeine is that part of the disorder? Caffeine is a mild stimulant. ADHD is believed to be a shortage of dopamine and another chemical (forget which) in the brain, and stimulants bring dopamine up to baseline - at the right dosage. For someone who already ha... |

I'm on Strattera. Me too! Has it helped? What does are you on? I'm on 100 mg, and it hasn't made a huge difference if any, I can't actually tell  I have a med review in July. 25 mg, probably the smallest dose. After some time I have noticed that my attention span for tv and reading seems better. |

I'm not actively suicidal, but I have multiple mental illnesses and it's hard to want to keep on living in this world. I think the last time I was actually any sort of mentally well was 2019. I don't think I'll ever truly be ok again. If meds don't help for you (some people are med resistant), a goo... |

I dislike the framing of mental illness as something that makes people violent. That only fuels stigma. "Mentally ill" is a broad category of things. Lots of people have depression and anxiety, up to 20% of the population or more, and these illnesses alone do not make someone violent. That... |
