I felt that way when I found a bf who genuinely loved me - that it is too good to be true, that I would end up with even more severe trauma because that is my f*cking destiny. But it worked. Not the "and they lived happily ever after" fairy tale way but good enough. Finding the right apart...

There are lots of USA-specific issues... but I wouldn't like to restrict them, it mirrors the distribution of WP users.

Your way of contributing to the forum is totally OK. You are not likely to fall into hot debate - good for you :) You are unlikely to make a fool of yourself.
Oh, maybe here is the issue? I restrict my discussion contribution due to a fear that I could say something inappropriate. Do you?

Is that a thing? I have a diagnosis of BPD and can't feel love, just friendship which is enough for now. I'm not diagnosed with BPD yet it seems I fit the criteria... and my spouse, too... But, anyway: if you are BPD, it is likely that you have a severe trauma(s) related to love - and thus you try ...

My family wasn't disfunctional in any obvious way. Yet I know people with way more obviously messed-up childhood, who didn't develop such a trauma. I saw this video here: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/oct/07/the-party-a-virtual-experience-of-autism-360-video and I got furious. My famil...

Speaking of women's preferences, has anyone noticed a lot of young women with extremely underweight young men? I'm not complaining, if that's the type of man they like it's their choice, I just think it's strange that today many young women are eschewing the traditional ideal of a muscular man and ...

I care for wearing colors fitting my palette, then comfort, then style.
I wear trekking trousers and sport shoes. Every time I thought of adopting a more feminine image, I gave it up at a shoes store.
Now I prefer to look nerdy. Then people make less of a fuss when I start acting nerdy.

TBH, I've gone back on forth on whether or not I ever liked her. Like I said I had a lot of doubts. But there are times when I feel like I really miss her. And I thought that I did right afterwards too. The first time I ended things with her, I felt like maybe I had no more feelings for her - It ac...

Because they want to believe or at least make them look like they better then men. But it’s well known most women won’t date fat ugly men. I’d rsther you find out why men date fat ugly women? Why are men more accepting I observe men are more desperate to have women than the opposite. Maybe it has s...

Show them this video, worked with my parents. It’s mostly about experiences of a party but it can be relatable to other situations. It does a really good job of showing what it’s like in our heads sometimes. Hope it helps. :) https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/oct/07/the-party-a-virtual-ex...

My niece is 20 , she’s married, working a good job, has a new car, and TIL her husband got arrested were looking at buying a house. Her husband was arrested? Doesn't seem a very orderly life to me, unless it is a total random mistake. Remember, many NTs have mastered making impression of having a m...

What’s the point other then to show how depressing the world is? Everyone already knows it’s true they just won’t say it cause they don’t want to look like horrible people they are. Poland didn't "exist" because of the various Partitions of Poland. It certainly existed in the minds of Poles, though. It would depend upon the allegiance of those "Jews of Lviv." Did they consider themselves Poles? If so, definitely return them to Poland. And what if they belon...

I was - just like you - diagnosed (actually, half-diagnosed, as it's only the psychologist's opinion, not any official scrape of paper) after 30, married and having children. But in my case it was due to mental health problems I developed. My in-laws still are like "Asperger's? You mean the men...
