People on the Autism Spectrum do have successful careers and relationships. Is is a minority yes? but if you get a person at the mildest severity, much will power, and good luck to be in the right place and the right time to interact with people who are somewhat accepting it can and does happen. |

She is incorrect "High Functioning Autism" is not and has never been an official diagnosis in the DSM. Aspergers Disorder was an official diagnosis in the DSM IV from 1994-May 2013. Aspergers Disorder, Autstic Disorder, and PDD-NOS were subsumed into Autistic Spectrum Disorder. People diagnosed unde... |

A few lines about what nuerodiversity is does not change the overall negative ... |

The study was dodgy even if the authors noted it was dodgy. The Daily Mail article was worse. I am more worried about what or if any backlash against us actually occurs. The backlash against Autistics after Sandy Hook an event massively covered was much less then feared so I do not think this which ... |

When I first was diagnosed I worried about this issue. Found out there was no nothing to to worry about. My support groups and Vocational Rehab and you guys know because that is the whole point. My family knows but outside of that I don't come in contact with people long enough. I would not add "I a... |

As you are finding out, moving to another country no matter what your neurology is hard. Everybody going to a pub after work is a noticeable difference but there are subtle differences. Moving to England can fool you because as the expression goes "two countries separated by a common language". If y... |

I'm hoping to get into a TV station even if it's in the mail room or receptionist just as long as I get my foot in the door it will be a dre... |

Another one is having my girl sit on my legs (both naked (facing me)) and peeing on my penis so it touches her p*ssy or *ss(hole). Maybe you could spice it up by replacing penis with face, so that you can taste both of them. :P Burying my face in the as*hole, oh yeah <3 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki... |

On Wrong Planet it is rampant. Let's start with the name of this website that gives the message that we are aliens and not human. Then all the posts, I hate myself, my autism etc. Then the posts that we need a separate colony because "they" will never accept us (Not Vicky's which is meant to be temp... |

Gosh. I've done all right so far, I guess, despite odds and the appearance of reckless/imprudent choices. I've written books, and parts of books, though mostly they weren't the ones I meant to write. Have a sweet child, house, apple trees, gardens I don't have time to care for. Have health, can sti... |

It seems with each study disproving it, the idea gains in popularity. The recent CDC "1 in 68" report increased the "vaccines did it" idea a lot. For most autism related articles and youtube videos the comments sections are full of these theories now. We are paying the price for Watergate, Vietnam, ... |
