This is why it’s immoral advocating the stopping of medical progress for those with autism that can potentially relieve symptoms and increase functioning. Sure it’s terrible being forced to lock up but the only other alternative in many cases where serious self harm and dangerous behaviour is presen...

Even western organisations admit all opinion polls in Russia put Putins approval rating around 70% or at least above 50% as a minimum. So someone with an approval rating of around 70% winning an election is hardly a surprise. The problem is there is no credible opposition running. From what I read t...

He's hoping to treat her like a child who's incapable of deciding what's best for herself. Her choice, not his. Strange view is it not everyone’s duty to prevent suicide or assisted death as it’s called unless under extreme circumstances? ie unless to protect the individual from unnecessary sufferi...

The term classic autism is not really used anymore rather its just called the spectrum or ASD. They are still there though within the spectrum, the most disabled of which ar...

This kind of thing happens in the UK, but does not end in shooting, usually the autistic person is locked up for an indefinite period usually years or decades. When you hear stories from the UK of autistic people locked up in secure facilities for decades, this is exactly the type of situation where...

Chatbots are computer algorithms designed to respond with answers to appropriate questions. In other words they are not real anymore than your sandwich toaster is a real person. Unless you are using as practice conversation for the real thing, i would recommend a dog or cat for company instead. At l...

Maybe it’s time to change the diagnosis criteria sub divide autism according to disability.

It’s clear psychologists haven’t a clue what their doing in fact they just make the situation more absurd

I work remotely and it certainly helps. It’s great that the range of good jobs open to autistic people has exploded inadvertently due to COVID homeworking initiatives. I once remember Mona saying she wanted the end of the open office, that would be good for the small no of days when people are expec...

Didn’t Hoovers policies cause the Great Depression?

I remember in school telling us they named the homeless shanty towns that sprang up Hoovervilles

While trump wasn’t the greatest president US ever had he certainly wasn’t the worst.

Sounds politically motivated ranking
