When interacting with fellow human beings is painful or difficult and Xbox is easy, and gives a 'feeling' of achievement and social's hard to get off it. Maybe treat it like it's a game. Tell him to get xp (experience) of socialising to get better. Maybe even pay people to teach him.

What you're talking about is basically a one sided love affair. Or infatuation. To be honest everything you did was normal when seen through that lens. I can't get past it. Everything I try to do to distract myself ends up getting tied back into them in my head. Yes, I've been through that . Unfortu...

Often, if I make what I would consider a ludicrously stupid or ill-informed statement as a part of trying to be humorous, because it seems funny to me to think that I would actually believe such a thing, instead the statement is understood (typically by my wife) as a reflection of what I truly thin...

If someone seems very introverted they can be confused for a person of low IQ. So don't talk in a babying or condescending way

I'm not addicted , as in, if I were banned from drinking it for six months I wouldn't care. But I use it to loosen up sometimes. If I'm in deep depression I'll have a drink, because the alternative is to just endure the pain. Some situations in life are just tortuous without it,such as going somewhe...
