| I like it when it gets cooler. Right now, we are going through the hottest time of year in Santa Maria, CA. It is over 95 degrees. I can't stand that kind of heat. I have to drink a lot of water to avoid collapsing from the heat. |

| I don't like large gatherings. Too many people in one house makes me feel claustrophobic. I don't like trying to make conversation with people I don't know. Very often, I have nothing in common with them. |

| I believe I was very fortunate. I was, for the most part, loved and accepted. I was told that I shouldn't get carried away with my obsessions, the one thing that got me in the most trouble. Today, my obsessions are accepted, but I prefer to engage in them in my own room (eg. watching tennis matches)... |

| I don't consider myself ill with anything, although I do have a mild seizure disorder, fortunately under control with medication. I also sometimes get really nervous before important events, but I believe that is more anticipatory. |

| I would say "other" for me. The worst aspect of my suspected AS is doing stupid, clumsy things. I am functional at work, enjoy my special interests, and have decent social interactions. I am the kind of person who can remember a lot of factual information and do crossword puzzles, but if someone ask... |
