Probably some time in September. Matt wanted to do one Aug 16th, so hopefully someone will be able to meet up with him. We'll be in Belton that weekend, so we won't be there.

Tell the kid as soon as you can.
We never hid it, but ds asked me a few mos ago, "Mom, what's Asperger's?" I got to explain it to him and he understood that his brain works differently. Since figuring out that I've also got Asperger's, he seems more at ease, somehow. Like he knows I get him. |

I see them constantly. We live just a mile from my son's developmental ped's office and apparently she has many clients in this area.

yes, but it feels more geared toward NT parents of spectrum kids, not AS parents.
I'm an AS parent w/ an AS kid, an SI kid, and what appears to be a currently NT baby. |
