Yeah...uhm...he is a mod so asking you to follow the rules is his "business" . I may not agree with this particular rule but if you wont to not get banned you might reconsider the wording and keep the sentiment of the sig...(which I also thought was funny) . As to the other bits....I am an aspie and...

I don't know how much you know about aspergers but it is genetic, so even family members who are not "aspie" can be considered "boarder-line and have Some aspie traits . What this isn't...is a place to try and "cure" people just because their brains are wired differently . Most of us happen to belie...

It's just a social site for people who are on the autistic spectrum and their family or friends. Some times people just talk about issues related to problems they are having because of how other people treat aspies and some like to talk about video games, music, art or their other interests . Pretty...

If my parents were going to be the kind of people who were worried that I was not going to be the kind of "healthy" baby that they dreamed of...I hope they would abort me . Honestly, my life was hell because I could never live up to my parents expectations and I would have preferred not having to go...

Glad to have you here and yes, there is a genetic factor and most probably you, yourself could be some where on the spectrum. I hope someday soon, there will be more research about how autism presents in females because I believe it can be different in many ways. Stands to reason, considering that w...

I'm interested in finding this out as well . I went to someone who was supposed to be an "expert" in evaluating As in adults and there was no neurological evaluation at all . I was Dxed with As but I believe my co-morbids are actually what are causing me the problems and there was no evaluation for ...

I'm not a business person (psych major and literature) but...to sustain the cost of production, you need to have advertisers and if your ethical and anti-cure...that cuts out the largest budgets . Subscription costs alone rarely touches the cost of production in a "normal mag." but keeping productio...

Sounds good, you might still consider contacting Inventor . I don't know if he is still interested in printing but he does know what he is doing and has the presses, though he is mostly working in book printing and binding now .

Actually I agree. I still think it is a good idea and I still prefer the idea of having something in my hand rather then just on-line. I like the idea of ever subscriber planting their read issues in every library and Dr's office in America :D Still wishing you luck and offering you both encourageme...

I can't find my bookmark of the magazine but if you have the patience...goole Asperger and autism magazines. One thing you will notice right away is how many times Asperger/Autism Digest shows up...a hard core curbie mag for "experts to reinforce their current misinformation and inability to grasp t...

One interesting thing I read about multi-tasking which is based (statistically speaking) about NT's ....is that they really aren't as good at it as they perceive them selves to be . In other words, they think they are being more efficient, but their ability to do each task suffers and they do neithe...

Hey, this is interesting to see an old corpse resurrected . I will try and explain what happened.... I was obsessed with these magazine for several months but hit a brick wall called "cat herding" issues . I was working with Inventor on this and we simply had to different concepts of the direction o...
