I remember when I was about 2 stuck in a play pen and no way to escape without help.
Then they stuck my younger brother in with me. He was no help. All he did was lay there. I thought he was pretty useless. |

^ Yeah, but so NetBSD is. FreeBSD is said to be performance demon of BSDs but I think it's negligible (if there's any?) difference from NetBSD on ordinary hardware. I thought about NetBSD. I have accounts on another networks that use NetBSD but I don't think that I have ever installed it myself. Sp... |

This might be a bit off topic, but some years ago there were a couple of women in my town who worked (with others) at a little combination fast food joint and convenience store. (For what it's worth, this place had very good food and wasn't all that expensive. If you wanted a steak, you could buy a ... |

We had load bearing structures all over the world long before we had the calculus to evaluate the strength of those structures.
By your argument, we could not have had spears or bows and arrows prior to having the calculus to evaluate their flight paths. |

So 200 tons, but they were unable to move it.
If it were aliens, why would 200 tons give any issues? |

200 tons? When I did a web search this morning, the results said that the heaviest was something like 86 tons. |

We don't know much about the exact details of how life developed on Earth. It seems to me that the idea of panspermia is entirely one of "since we don't know how it developed, it must be something outside of Earth no matter how preposterous". It is nothing more than an appeal to a supernat... |

For my servers, it is OpenBSD although I have toyed with the idea of using FreeBSD. As somebody daily-driving FreeBSD I'd say unless your hardware is unsupported by other BSDs (or ye want bhyve VM so badly), there's IMO no reason to prefer it over Open / NetBSD. It feels a bit messy compared to the... |
