If you don't want to be laughed at, then do nothing considered laughable by others.

... Like ... sharing your fantasies in a public forum ...

Yes, foreigners generally have an exagerated view of America's shortcomings. For instance, some of my asian wife's relatives are surpried that I not only like rice, but that I know how to eat it, too! Many of the foreign engineers I've worked with expected to meet a beer-swilling, gun-toting,...

I've shaded the facts, bent the truth, given misleading answers, and refused to answer on the ground that doing so might incriminate me, but I've never outright lied.

The theory of 47 goes something like this: At the age of 18, an American citizen comes into his ability to affect the outcome of elections, enter politics, and be elected to public office. At this age he is at his most idealistic "Save The World" best. 47 years later, at the age of 65, the same pers...

which is yet another thing he has denied his victims. Yet, he was a victim of one of his 'victims'. On top of all that, he gets three square meals a day, a place to sleep, free medical, free dental, and a free education all at the taxpayers' expense. I'd say he's getting off easy. So he would be li...

... says the guy who hit on an under-aged girl. What'cha goin' ta do about it, huh? *push push push* Not much more. Yeah, I said some things but I didn't hit on her. Naw, hitting on is usually done in a bar and is a lot more serious. A piece of advice, then: Stick to your story and deny everything ...

I have made threats like that, but didn't mean em. Intent means nothing. If you make a death threat, and have the means to carry it out, expect law enforcement to take action against you, if only to hold and question you for 72 hours when the person you threatened actually dies. Actually, no, fnord...

I sometimes wonder if the only reason the so-called "Neurotypicals" are in charge is because they socialise better than the rest of us. Um..why would you think otherwise?! !! How do you think people win in democracy? Bribes? No, Intimidation? No Social skills even if what there saying is complete a...

Every murderer has a reason of murdering their victims. Many have gone on to be executed while still believing that their reasons were sufficient cause. Note that I am not advocating the death penalty for the child, only a life sentence. so a child should suffer more than an adult in the same situa...

I am not an exhibit. I am not a ticking time-bomb. I am not a robot. I know how to dress myself. I don't need to be medicated. I do not have a psychotherapist on speed-dial. I am not easily distracted by shiny things ... donuts, yes ... but not shiny things. I do not pick my nose and eat the snots. ...

I work all day solving other people's problems. My time is my time, and I enjoy escapist activities. When not camping, hiking, and panning for gold, I read science-fiction, and play video or table-top RPGs.

Escapism, in moderation, is good.
