Love Your Enemies (Matthew 5:38-40)Not only are Christians supposed to be peaceful , they're also supposed the let others slap the snot out of them and rob them blind. No, we're supposed to be selfless. "Turning the other cheek" is a historical reference to people slapping folks from the side. Turn...

You turn the other cheek when it concerns yourself, but take the sword out when questions of faith are at stake. Surprisingly, these are very hard guidelines to follow because it's so much easier to do it the other way around.

Precisely once. I put effort into not reacting to it at all, as if it didn't happen to me, and it never continued. Facing explicit disrespect outside and after school has been a normal thing; I've been working on myself to minimise such occurrences.

Could not obtain topic watch information

Another popular one it seems. This one appears after every post.

Aren't we supported by Autism Speaks? Maybe they could contribute technical assistance to this forum. I kid, I kid. But honestly, these errors really exhaust me as an autistic.

But how many of those people with homosexual dispositions who lived as straights their whole lives did so only because they were afraid to express who they really were? One of my oldest friends, who had also been the best man at my wedding, had lived the greater part of his life pretending to be st...

I seem to get this error message a lot when I search for new posts, followed by the video advertisement of Alex's projects. Is anybody else really irked by this? I probably shouldn't be. Also, isn't there a way to look for new topics while logged off? A lot of the time I'm too tired to want to parti...

^^^ Why don't you believe that some individuals are born homosexual? I don't deny that some disposition exists which results in a similar percentage of gay people across the globe, but it seems that there are noticeable fluctuations depending on the environment. Value systems, laws etc. - they all ...

If an autistic is too attractive, their appearance could deceive others into thinking they would be a good partner. Possibly a really good thing for many people, but I usually stay away from forming relationships so as not to hurt people, since I'm too concerned about their well-being to connect the...

I read the title as "gay abortion". I guess that's one trouble gay people don't have to worry about? There is absolutely no evidence that the sexuality of parents affects the sexuality of children. Otherwise no homosexual children would come from heterosexual parents. It doesn't have to be a 100% gu...

If Christ had said nothing of homosexuality, surely he must have been in full agreement about the stance on the subject at the time. Doesn't necessarily mean we should make the same conclusions out of it that modern fundamentalists do. Same for slavery ... subjugation of women as second-class citiz...

I've noticed many people on these forums describing that being surrounded by successful or socially outgoing persons makes them jealous or frustrated. I recall plenty of stories that people went as far as delete themselves from facebook, stop communicating with the people in question and so forth. I...

Be it emailing, instant messaging or phone calls (not to mention visiting someone in person), I always find the initiative to contact people to be terribly hard and would rather not do it at all. Casual emailing can be effortless sometimes, though, but most of the time hardly so. I'm also really loo...

Do they ever give you any gifts or money when you don't ask for it? Usually it's a thing that's left unstated that the sides are aware of, or at least expected to be aware.

Who cares what the Bible says? "As of the early 21st century, Christianity has around 2.1 billion adherents (believers)" 176,400,000 Christian people in United States which is 78.4% of the population from, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian It was a rhetorical question. I have always sounded very excited when talking about the things I am interested in or enjoy, my intonation is rather rich (partly as a result of some years of training) and I like putting on different voices.

Does this put my aspieness to doubt? Heh, aspieness is a funny word.
