For me, a special interest is more restricted and not as rational in the restrictions as it may be with a NT interest.

Main problem: Smell. Bad breath, certain foods, bubbblegums, energy drinks... Second: Sound. Some people watch movies or tv on their phones without earplugs. Talking on the phone is normally not a problem. I also get this in reverse as I'm usually making sounds (humming, whistling) and it disturbs m...

Never had any problems making eye contact.
Well, I kind of have an issue with sometimes making too much eye contact, it has happened that people accuse me of staring at them. Totally not a conscious thing, I have been thinking recently that it is a way to try to read them, but IDK.

Apart from the sociopathic junk, I have a captains license, my father possibly autistic had a pilot license, captains licence, and a divers license, my uncle autistic for sure has a pilots license.
So it's possible.
But it's part of getting a license to not be a jerk about it.

What's weird to me is that I never in my adult life had this happen to me before I moved to this city. And it started way before I got diagnosed, so I don't believe it's because I've changed my behaviour because of the diagnosis. What's happening is some people don't greet me. Nobody asks me out for...

https://i.imgur.com/WiqR5Og.jpg A little uncomfortable sharing my art, but here goes. I may delete if I get too self-conscious T_T Mixed media on canvas. Most of the "paint" is handmade from crushed rock/shale from my old home in North Georgia. I don't think I'm quite finished with it yet...

It seems like you're frustrated about not getting feedback on your posts. Admins/mods cannot do much about that. My guess is that the subjects aren't that interesting/not put in a way to seem interesting. If you want to learn how to make interesting posts/posts people will respond to, I believe it's...

While discrimination do excist, against females, asians, africans, neurodiversity, sexuality etc, I feel that many use it as an excuse for other shortcomings. It may well be that the person wasn't fit for the job, or just didn't click with the interviewer, or something else not at all connected with...

Back in the day, 80ies to be precise, post punk/goth was my bread and butter.
Though goth wasnt a term used, at least not here. We called it "svart-rock" (lit. "Black Rock") since everyone wore black clothes.

I doubt it can be done 100% remotely.
My assessor did most of the assessment remotely, via phone and skype, but I had to visit her office to do the tests.
I think it was mostly to study my body language and such.

That's the nature of "average", about half the population is below and half above.
