I like analoges. Let's say covid was always here, some would get Delta and some Omicron. At first the scientists decided to call the people infected with Delta to be called ABC, and the people infected with Omicron XYZ. Then they realized that it was basically the same thing and started to call it A...

Here we go again ;) I'm sure it's more complicated than this, but... Aspergers, Autism, ADHD, OCD etc etc are just labels trying to describe various conditions/difficulties etc. The labels change over time, as the professionals learn more about the conditions, or new professionals come in with a dif...

I think what may have helped me was two things. Changing schools. After 9th grade, completely new environment and new classmates. After 10th grade doing a year as an exchange student in USA. After that, back home, new classmates again. The other thing was not knowing that I was on the spectrum (diag...

The way I understand the term is not knowing more than your peers, or being able to educate them. It's probably required to know a fair bit of the subject, but I think it has more to do with the trait of giving lectures rather than discussing or present theories or whatnot. The little professor woul...

Perhaps, or could be "egenmäktigt förfarande" (something like "doing something without gain to yourself, but something that is disturbing to the other party"). Typically, that would be like someone goes into your garden and mowes the lawn for you, or closes a door that you may ha...

Does it literary say "Mild Asperger's" in your diagnosis, or was that a wording from the doctor, to explain your issues? AFAIK there is no such thing as a Mild Aspergers diagnosis, even less so than the often heard High Functioning Autism "diagnosis", but diagnosises could state ...

I feel you. My ex comes around knocking on my door now and then, yelling my name, knocking on the windows. We don't have a trespassing law here, but I'm pretty sure what she's doing is illegal. But I don't want to talk with her or get engaged in a legal matter with attorneys and crap. I just want he...

I'd ask the employer.
They are more likely to know of national guidelines and/or if the company has any policies regarding these kinds of matters.

I'm a rigger, working with the wires, ropes, masts, sails, and spars of sailing ships and boats. Also as a specialist in those matters, historically and practically. I quit because of several reasons. Some bullying, some disbelieving in my credentials. A bit of unsatisfaction with what I was expecte...

Situations where I have to keep lots of information in my head simultaneously can be difficult, like in some sudokus or games like chess. Technical problems are easier, one can usually out rule parts of the mechanism/program by bypassing it/turning it off/replacing it with something that is known to...

Have you got some sort of pension? No. And the old age pension system is being redone I believe, so I'm not really sure of when I'll be eligible for it. But it's not important. If push comes to shove, I could always rent out a room or two, or take a crap job, or take some uni courses. I don't have ...

I've only done one epoxy floor and it was for myself and very small scale compared to what you'd be facing. But I don't think it would be too hard. There are basically two things you cannot get wrong when dealing with epoxy. You need the mix to be correct and you need the temperature to be high enou...

I quit my job today.
No plans.
No desires.
No dreams.
I think I have enough savings to get me through to retierment age, but heck, I don't really care at the moment.
