"Race" did not enter into my mind at all. This is a school shooting. This kid shot and killed at least three people. It doesn't matter what race the kid is. The kid is a 15-year-old murderer. Yes, all true, but nonetheless the identity of the shooter will determine how the media covers it...

At some point in the future it will probably be possible. Most things that can be imagined can be done with enough knowledge, resources and experience. Todays science fiction often becomes tomorrows science fact - if not more so. Try reading Becky Chambers 'Wayfarers' series of novels - especially ...

If youre gonna talk about it then ... really speak. And explain what it is that youre speaking about. Do you m...

If you could magically build a planet out of dust in the space of our solar system, at what point (how large) would the material used go into orbit around the sun? 1) the dust is already in orbit around the parent star as it is coalescing into a protoplanet. 2)Its not a matter of "how big"...

To carelessly, or maliciously, split an infinitive, is never to ...under any circumstances... be done!

My opponent, in this election is....a shameless extravert, an admitted Homosapien, and his wife is a known thespian! As Twice said above its more of adjective than a "label". And its quite useful. If the issues is that you think the adjective itself as having some kind of stigma then thats...

And not a good comparison. In theory any adult native born American over 35 can become president. Even i...

Ah...

I know the character, but forgot the name of the kid who wanted the BB gun.

The Rudolf song doesnt mention a dentist, but I suppose I saw that character in that Burl Ives made for TV movie, decades ago, with the animiated figures, and forgot about him.

Here we say "Blotto" for someone who is drunk I think. I have once ot twice seen Big Bang Theory but hardly seen it really. Brother has. Remembering names and faces is not my thing. We in the States also say "Blotto" (we had a local rock band of that name in the Eighties), and a...
