There were times back in the early days when the site was so busy with members posting that when you tried to send a post, you would get a message that said something to the effect that there were too many postings happening at the current time for the post to go through. There used to be a window l...

Drained (mentally). Thinks there must be a echo in the room? Relates to that feeling. Most sadly . Yes, there are just too many things going on that are taxing me down. A lot of it is job related. I feel like I face brick walls that I cannot penetrate. And then I have projects I am wanting to work ...

When I joined this site in 2008 it was highly active. It seemed that no sooner than you made a post than someone else would post right behind you. And members were actively posting every second it seemed somewhere on the site. I have been away awhile and have since returned. Where is everyone? I kno...

Yes. It was especially magical when I was growing up. Some of my favorite Christmas albums (records) were:
Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (Peter Pan Records)
Happy Holi-Dee (Lenny Dee organist, 1961)
Christmas with Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass (1970)
Holiday Sing Along with Mitch Miller (1961)

I like snow, and I love deep snows unless they seriously disrupt things. I especially like snow when there are cancellations and I don't have to get up early. I love a snowy weather forecast and waiting for those first flakes to arrive outside the house. I love the quietness of the surrounding lands...

Hi Borromeo. The tabletop one is a whitish color, no horn, and has two doors which open on the front. Both it and the Silvertone sat in a storage building for nearly 40 years without ever having played a record. They belonged to my grandparents. I got them along with a bunch of the old records. Both...
