*Hugs* I know what you mean. The number of people i had an emotional connection with in my life are probably lower than three. And the relationships i had with these people were obsessive and codependent. I hope you can have healthy relationships with supportive people that you can feel close to. A...

I am incredibly independent. I also have love. I am also okay with myself. I mean specifically understood to some degree.

I feel like it's a pretty strong indicator that they're aligned with AS, which tends to make me skeptical of if they're actually able to benefit people with ASD.

I feel similarly.

I have been thinking a lot. I noticed recently that I am lonely. I am always lonely. And have been for a very long time. Since I can remember, it's like I am inside of myself, so profoundly that people seldom reach me. Does anyone else feel like this? It's like being a little shop at the edge of a v...

I am really sorry you have lost so many people to disinformation around Covid-19. I hadn't seen this thread, but their lives mattered. Glad you and yours are vaccinated. We are, too, at least those of us old enough in my house to be vaccinated, and we mask up at all times.

I met my bf on Tinder. I think, being direct helped me sift through lots of people. He just fit me best, we fit each other best. It's not perfect or anything but I like him the way I like other things, hot cocoa, my stuffies, my fav shows, I can't imagine not knowing him now.

I would try to learn by observation and approach later. When people doing something right asked to share their secret of success, they often would tell you subjective story, what they feel is important, but often dismiss factors that actually made them successful. I can't directly observe him, our ...

I just had a couple of questions for him, not too invasive. At least I think, shall I post them here? To see if they are terrible or not? We are meeting in a couple of days.

Also, I adore Tin Tin.

So I am at a new job. I haven't said a word about being Autistic to a soul. There is someone though in the same position with decades of experience over me that is openly Autistic. I want to reach out to him and talk to him about career advice, how he copes at our workplace, and so on and so forth. ...

It's really hard for me to feign interest in someone or something. It's almost painful. I have very little interest in people usually. They seem to lead with information that is irrelevant, uninteresting, meaningless to me to forge bonds and so I immediately dismiss them. People are like flowers to ...

I guess I would say maybe figure out why you want a girlfriend, and figure out why a woman you're interested in wants a boyfriend and go from there. I have specific reasons for wanting a boyfriend, as there are things I want him to give me, do for me, be for me. So I used that to pick someone, and t...
