Oh - and I should add that generally the people that I feel the strong positive connections to are the only ones that I will let touch me - I HATE being touched in general . . . I used to feel the exact same way. Now, for some reason, I'm really like being touched. I don't know why, i guess its jus... |

I'm the opposite - I tend to assume that people are lying unless they give me a good reason that they aren't - and even then usually they don't mean what they are saying - people tell me all the time that they care about me until they realize how messed up I am and then they don't want to be around... |

Here's my favourite quote, from me... lol. Without the weird people, how would the normal people know they were normal? If everyone were the same, you could say that everyone is normal because they are all the same, but woul you really have that concept to think about, since everyone is the same an... |

I play clarinet. I have enjoyed it very much. If you practice for at least 30 minutes a day, Mich, It can be very rewarding. I went to an orchestra camp one summer and enjoyed it immensly. I got to play a concerto with the orchestra which was quite a good experience. Playing in a band could be one o... |

Welcome Jake! I read your story, "United Airlines DC-6, the year: 1958," and I was very impressed. I loved the way you narrated it. It was very heart warming! Yes, the Praying Mantis is very cool, a very interesting insect indeed. |

This summer, I'm going to day camp. What this has to do with flirting, you may wonder? A boy's coming this year who flirted with me the year before. (and at the camp's open house) He's really annoying, but that's not the worst part. People tease me about him!! ! I don't know how many times my paren... |

We should set times for the chat. Alex? Everybody? What times should the "chat times" be? I think, also, you'll find that once the community grows (we're already one of the fastest growing Aspie sites, even three days into it!), there will be a greater chance of someone in the chat. I think the tim... |

Are stories longer than one post allowed on the Art, Writing, And Music forum? Like, are yopu allowed to write a long story on there? I was just wondering. If you would like to submit a story to be displayed, you can submit it to the "Writing and Poetry" section. Dan has coded some stuff to enable ... |

My guess would be that it's not an AS thing. I've known quite a few people who are compelled to move and/or change jobs frequently but none of then had AS traits. Here is a quote from the Simpsons: Marge: We've met you many times Miss Nagel, why do you keep changing jobs? Lindsey: I'm a sexual pred... |
