I highly doubt I'd ever get married. My personal choice is not to have children, and that's a marriage killer right there. I also don't care if I do marry or not. If it is a huge personal life choice that will give you contentment in the end it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Don't let someo...

I've been shopping a lot, since about a year back. Like you, I do it because of the emptiness within me... I am *very* unhappy... basically dead inside. But getting a new package, every now and then, to go through and be sort of happy from, for a day or two, at least, feels worth it, to me. The one...

I don't agree with using drugs as an attempted cure to issues pertaining to the autism spectrum. Anti psychotic drugs are absolutely awful and can shorten someone's life span and even cause brain damage over long periods of use. People who absolutely have to take them don't like the side effects of ...

I am in my 30's and like most of you, I had trouble with my peers. One of these peers hurt me many times while I was in Middle and high school. We had even had each other on face book until recently. It turns out that they still enjoy gossping and spreading lies about me. This is all the while brag...

You are risking your future because of some weirdo. Tell your parents, talk to the school. You need to get back into your classes. School is important! If you're being harassed, the school can do something about it, but you have to let them know. There are people out there working their butts off j...

Here's mine though I have to admit I'm a little skeptical towards the SPQ, and it's accuracy in examining schizo traits. Ideas of reference: 2.5 out of 9 (unsure: 0) Excessive social anxiety: 6.5 out of 8 (unsure: 0) Odd beliefs or magical thinking: 0.5 out of 7 (unsure: 0) Unusual perceptual experi...

I've had it happen before, sometimes I wonder if they're just being overly judgmental or shy and just don't want to tell me they don't like me anymore. I try not take it personally but it does make me feel bad that people don't even have the balls to tell me. My feelings are a little hurt either way.

Hey, here's an idea! Why don't all of us gays leave so that then you can all be a BLT! Mmmm that sounds very yummy 8) On a serious note not very practical I think this thread is a little silly, and as a bisexual I'm even a little offended. I'd stand up for my LG friends and I don't see the problem ...

Yeah I really hate asking for help it makes me feel weak and I already have very low self esteem. It has been a problem in the past though, not knowing how to ask for help I'd guess at stuff and make mistakes. When I did ask for help people belittled me because most stuff was obvious to them. So I t...

I have schizophrenia and I usually sleep at least 14 hours a day. I don't usually wake up until 3 in the afternoon if not later. I take 7.5 mg of haloperidol and 150 mg of zoloft at night time. I'm not depressed at the moment although I do get depressed every once in a while. Is this normal? Or doe...

What about dieting? has anyone tried dieting? I've read a lot of cool studies where people with Autism/schizophrenia and related disorders did slightly or a lot better with the right diet. So I'm going to give it a shot.... but for now I'm going to try this GAPS diet out http://gapsdiet.com/The_Die...

My mom has been telling me that when they retire their going to move to our summer property full time] At 24, you shouldn't be calling your parent's summer home "ours" unless your name is on the deed.Just saying. I don't think that's very encouraging and by ours I don't think Belushi87 meant it in ...
