Absolutely I planned on it.
I don't believe in manmade constructs like marriage being a barrier to sexual intercourse for pleasure. We've evolved to F & so I have & do - hundreds, if not 1000x+ & I've never been married. |

How about for all of the engineers, scientists, artists, actors, musicians, researchers, inventors, discoverers etc etc etc who've all been known AS people? But, I agree, it's no one's business as to your neurological makeup & you shouldn't ever have to disclose it to anyone for any reason. Tha... |

I'm 3/4 of the way through the book "The Brewmaster's Table" which is about pairing beer and food. It's also got a LOT of info about the history of beer. The long and the short of it is that pretty well every single Monastery has brewed beer - and some of them are quite amazing beers. Gett... |

I didn't figure out my own diagnosis until I was ~30. In many ways I think this was good because I never had a label to use an excuse why I couldn't do things, and thus tried many things I might not have. Sure, I failed at many things, too, and had some very frustrating times.. but a label alone wou... |

It's definitely the OP's depressive/negative thoughts and self perception. All my life I've been told I'm good looking, but my perception was that relatives would say these things out of obligation and I believed I was unattractive. It's only over the last handful of years that I've realized it was ... |

A relationship is much harder to obtain than sex. If it's sex you want, use a dating/hookup app or personals website and find someone to hookup with. It's really not that hard. At all. Use your ability to communicate via text to find someone you're attracted to, who's attracted to you, and arrange a... |

From my Gay VHF ASD perspective, I want pretty well all the things other people want in a relationship - NT or otherwise. Sounds like the comments you quoted from the other thread were made by people who assume that just because that's how ASD manifests in themselves that it ought to be that way for... |

Gay guy here. You're not exactly my type, but you're mot ugly, either. Your problem is your perceptions and thoughts about yourself - they're depressive/negative. Correct that, think positively about yourself, and you'll give off a happy confident vibe that attracts the opposite sex. |

If it is important to you then pay for it, simple as that. Separate the issue from forming a relationship and it would probably make the latter easier. I am not going there because its fake and I hate paying people for things that doesn't make a formation. I prefer with friends and someone in love.... |

From another of your threads you said you're 25 but look 21. Sounds like she was having a bit of a laugh at the fact that you appear to be more of a "boy" than a "man." It might not have been very polite of her to insult your masculinity like that, but it sounds like it was more ... |

No, not everyone is having sex all the time. Some people never have it, others frequently, some sporadically, others yet have it in varying frequencies throughout their life, some have it regularly like clockwork - everyone is different. The 'hookup culture' you are referring to is a myth, invented ... |

Or we're intelligent enough to read books (The Complete Guide To Asperger's Syndrome by Dr. Tony Attwood, and a couple of Aspie autobiographies) & know that the description matches our entire lives' experience to a T. Further, as I've stated here many times, I did not and do not want the stigma ... |

That reminded me of how much symptoms sucked before I figured out how to treat them via diet/probiotics etc. So much better now to have to mask all of that all the time. What a waste of energy. |

I've found that the best social skills building thing I've done is working in restaurants. Even when I was a teenager working at Mcd's, I learned things from coworkers/managers. I've since worked ALL kinds of jobs, but am currently back in the service industry working at an upscale brewpub. It's not... |
