Feel happy and secure in the knowledge that, well,l if they are the future of the human race, we are all f*****g doomed!

May God help us...

Or not..I think he gave up or something. Don't blame him!

Yet another human war against those considered to be um 'different' because the human race lacks the capability to live together peacefully and accept difference. We all have to be the same right? Or there is something wrong with you? There is no natural law anywhere saying what a human should be pe...

It just makes me feel hopeless when all my social issues are seen as mistakes I make and NTs naturally know the correct answer. If I just see it as me accommodating to their way of thinking and limitations it seems *a lot* more do-able. Like when I talk a bit too much instead of scolding myself for...

Ok yes they do have processing issues sometimes (they cant process certain information very well and their theories in some cases are definitely dubious) but that does not mean they are impaired or backwards. They just have different abilities to you. End of.

Can we not just consider that humans come in different shapes and sizes and that it doesn't make one disordered to be different from the mainsteam.

I just ask that as a species we think about it...

Don't be hard on him, it may be an executive functioning issue. If he works, in most cases he has to deal with people all day every day, this can be hard at the best of times, but if people are creul to him then it's made even worse. Lazy has nothing to do with it...maybe its psychological distress?...

He wasn't really a "looker," by the way.

Seriously, I have found that people, in general, don't care about a person's looks if the person acts reasonably.

This is ridiculously untrue if you are a female.

I don't have general anxiety, only social anxiety, so it's circumstantial for me. Sometimes i'm anxious just thinking about social situations, but usually it happens during them, prepping for them, or anticipating them. Staying home often = problem solved, but sometimes the FOMO gets me anxiety too...

I really hate it when people use the, "sorry, I have autism" as an excuse of submitting poor works, like horrible art / music/ science homework, etc. This is subjective...music is a matter of taste as is art. As to science homework if someone struggles with a particular area (and even NTs...

My parents don't think I was a burden. :) But no one even knew I was on the spectrum until I was an adult, so I don't matter. :( I have read articles where parents of autistic children have been told how hard it must be for them and how brave they are not to basically just literally murder their ki...

There are even parents of non autistic kids who consider being a parent a burdin. All the sacrifices they had to make etc. So when someone like that gets a disabled kid it's that much worse to them.
