You'll eventually stop rolling 1s.
You can't count on rolling a 20 when you need to.

I'm afraid I wouldn't clap them under any circumstances. When I was a child I went to all these assessments, was put on a vile diet for years and all because the doctor was doing a thesis on my condition and how diet affected it. HE DIDN'T GIVE A DIAGNOSIS! Had he done so I might've got the support...

^who is this guy’s audience? 12-15yo boys? Hard to take him seriously at all as a journalist when the language he uses sounds like he’s trying to appeal to rebellious teenagers. Considering the network he's on, I think he's aiming for an audience that have never matured beyond 12-15, even though th...

All sardonic joking aside, this is actually very sad because it means even more people are going to get sick and die and calling them a bunch of sheep and idiots is only going to make them rebel against logic and reasoning even more. :( That would be the tragedy of this type of situation, a large n...

Hey, they've all stocked up on fishbowl cleaner. There's no need to quarantine anymore, they've got Dr. Trump's miracle cure and already believe that older Americans should be willing to die to save Trump's reelection bid.

What’s wrong with what’s being taught in college? Reality has a well-known left-wing bias. This is why some political blocs are much more hostile to education than others. You mean: In reality, Academia has a well-know left-wing bias, At the detriment of intellectualism. No, that's...

Oh okay. I could ask other people how many instruments they can hear then, out of curiosity. But if the instruments are not all playing at the same time, then why have that many then? Well, the really short answer is: flexibility . Sometimes the texture that best communicates the feeling the compos...

In reverse order: Just because you don't need all the instruments playing simultaneously, doesn't mean you don't ne...

Were the sections on both IQ tests the same? (Were they testing for the same kinds of abilities?) I heard there are different sections, such as language, verbal, etc. Some people can be wildly disproportionate The final number you're given is an average of those sections. Some people have very larg...

Bear in mind, part of the reason orchestras tend to have multiples of the same instrument, playing the same part is because they didn't have the option to mic-up and just turn the PA system up louder. Beyond that, the whole array of instruments will be playing parts that compliment each other, if on...

I have been asking myself this frequently because it is precisely my case, apparently. When I was 10 y/o, I was considered a kind of prodigy child cuz my IQ was measured and I got 132. But then at age 14 a neuropsychologist measure my IQ again and I got 106. I mean, is that possible? because if so ...
