I asked my computer geek husband and he said you might try wearing sunglasses and see if that helps. |

You're using Autism as an excuse to not do____________
Pain is just an excuse to manipulate people (as in to get them to turn their music down or off) |

I used to walk on my toes. It took a lot of work for me to correct it and I have to still think about walking correctly to be able to do it sometimes. |

Being a skateboarder, I've seen my fair share of bad spills that I've laughed at. Same thing with skiing and snowboarding. When we wipe out or have a "yard sale" all over the mountain for some reason it's funny. If someone gets hurt than it's not but other wise it's pretty hilarious. It's especiall... |

I hate when people tell me I should dress up more. My clothes are clean, usually not torn, I do have a pair of sweats and a pair of jeans that are and I love them that way, and one pair of sweats has paint handprints and splotches on it from when I painted the garage which I also love, but all my cl... |

I hate when my mum asks me when I am going to get my hair done or when people tell me I am fat like I don't have mirror or a scale.
I just don't understand why it bothers people if my hair is not done. I live in a single braid or ponytail. If I'm fine with it why should they care? |

I hate when I go for a dental checkup and the dentist puts cotton or gauze on my tongue to hold it. I told him he can't do that with me anymore. Fortunately he is very nice and accommodating so I no longer have to suffer that. |

Wow. I thought I was alone on this one. I hate them. Textural issue. No problems with sounds as you describe. My preferred brands of over the counter medication are partially dictated by whether or not the company puts cotton balls under the safety seal of the bottle. Coping mechanism? I pluck them... |

I hate the way those little wax tissue things they use for toilet paper in some bathrooms feel. And who the heck thought to use that as toilet paper anyway? It's the most useless ineffective sorry excuse for toilet paper that anyone could have ever come up with. We had that in a couple of my schools... |

Wow, I didn't think cotton balls made sound when you pull them apart. Yeah, It's a kind of high pitched kind of tear sound like they are screaming or something. It's really hard to describe it's a weird kind of sound. Now that you know they make a sound I am curious if you can hear it. Take a cotto... |
