I'd like to paint my car like a kamikaze fighter. :nerdy: Ha! My car might get a WW2 fighter plan bit of art painted on it. Ken Foster, the Artist, was looking at a WW2 fighter plane magazine admiring the shapes and designs of the planes and I told him I've always thought it would be kinda neat to ...

Not much you can do besides do you your job and ignore them. Unless you have to work Together to complete something, then all you can do is ask for their assistance pulling their own weight to complete a task and hope for the best. If management blames you for something not being completed during yo...

Largely a win for justice, but It's the last bit that's a bit concerning: “As a high-ranking government official who exercises ultimate control over the conduct of this prosecution, the Special Counsel is no more entitled to protection from lawful public criticism than is the institution he represen...

We're screwed.

May as well go kiteboarding with all the stronger winds storms are going to bring. No better way to make the most of it in our short lifetimes.

How many hours in a row are you drinking? 2 or 3? Nah. 6 or 10? Yeah.

Swung by a liquor store to pick up some Granville Island Winter Ale but they were all sold out :/ would have been a perfect night for it. Ah well, drank a couple cheap IPA's and had an ounce or so of pretty good tequila in a toast to one of the guys that recently died & then gifted the rest of t...

It sounds like you have everything documented in writing, including what he had agreed to pay you, so if it comes down to it, if he just refuses to pay you what he owes you, you should have a strong case in small claims court. Hopefully it won't come to that. Best of luck! While true, it’s a pita, ...

In your case Chris, due to a lack of a long term partner and because you still rely on your parents - the chances of you having a kid are going to be reduced simply by social circumstance, and not necessarily by anything biological. Men can have kids at any age, although a man's sperm count decline...

Sent quote in advance with fixed flat price, awarded contract a few weeks later, completed the job over 7 trips in ~1.5 weeks in time for them to get their carpenter in next and painter after that. Client asked (in advance) for a specific in...

100% lol

I’m just about to shower off the dust from work and then head pretty much right there to go visit the artist again. He lives about 1 block from where that was filmed.

Coffee water and chicken broth yesterday. So far same menu today. Was feeling a bit off so no booze. Gonna keep that streak going a bit - too much to do And likely gonna be some holiday season social drinking so may as well cut down persona consumption. Good to cut the calories a bit, too.
