| I don't remember noises ever really bothering me as a kid. Sure, it makes sense why I really felt the sounds of loud thunder during a storm - and while it was a bit frightening at times, it was exciting and I liked it. Now, at 30, I think my ears have been more sensitive over the last year than ever... |

I don't care what label I'm given with an official diagnosis, I know myself and know how well I do or don't function, what my strengths/weaknesses and challenges are and so forth, so being lumped in with higher or lower functioning people isn't going to change my perception of my own capab... |
