I typically can't look at faces at all. I focus on hands/whatever the person is doing if they're showing me something.

Who cares what they think of you? They are there to perform a function... it seems to me to be like caring what the furniture thinks of you. I like getting haircuts, because when they shampoo your hair they massage your scalp, which feels really nice. This is how I think of it. Who cares what "the ...

I feel seizures coming on and extreme tiredness 2 weeks before, then that continues and I get bloodless cramps a few days before, then I soak through a super absorbant (my ass) tampon AND a pad that might as well be a diaper about every 3 hours. Swap fatigue for insomnia because I have to stay awake...

He closed the door and walked away. I was facedown on the floor in my own vomit and mucous. I'm going ...

I've had chemo for brain cancer and it was one drug that they also use on breast cancer (temodar/temozolamide). Now, I was on a really low dose so I felt okay while I was on it, but a few months later I got "chemo brain" which was basically this really hardcore brain fog and I couldn't figure out wh...

Also, for some reason, my parents still think I'm completely untouched. We'll be at the doctor's or something...

Nurse: *to me* Any chance you might be pregnant?
Dad: Only if there's another miracle.
Me: *biting my tongue to keep from laughing*

I've had three. My doctors don't understand the synesthesia either. They refuse to acknowledge that it exists or tell me I have "more important things to worry about" When you're terminal, its called quality of life... as*holes. My room can't not be near the kitchen. Its a ranch house. I asked about...
