I have noticed over the years that when I talk to certain people I am completely different. Over the years I have built different personas for different people that are the closest to me, and it's incredibly hard to turn off for me. I have always had different personas for when I go out to the store...

6/10. I rushed a bit because I got impatient. I have gotten a 9/10 on one of these things before when I actually took my time.

I'm writing a book about a painter who is autistic. I have no idea what the "story" is, it's not a mystery or anything it's really just a sort of "life" story. Drama I would say.

Socially I am so uncertain. I know the two engineering schools I am interested in get a lot of flack from people for having no social life and students who are more concerned with their studies. There are just little things I am not completely certain about like, computers, so I use my laptop to ta...

In my experience before mental illness caught up to me, college was very relaxed. Given my major had been computer programming, I find coding to be a relaxing activity (usually, when you're not screaming at it to work right). Plus I filled up my extra time with internet and art. Community Colleges ...

So I am about to finish my application for a community college and classes would begin on the 2nd of September. I have decided that I really need to do something and I think that Civil Engineering could be a good fit. I'm not sure exactly what I want to do but Geotechnical, Water and Structural seem...

Petting the back of my hair to the point my hands hurt from doing it for what can be hours sometimes. Inhaling through nose in such a way that it vibrates the back of my palate , (similar to the sound in the grudge movie) Rubbing soft things and sniffing them uncontrollably. Hand flapping. Odd jerky...

For me certain noises can cause anxiety or just really irritate me. But I'm quite lucky that I'm not very sensitive (exception of certain lighting/flashing lights) There are a lot of sounds that can be anxiety inducing for me: Mastication, very heavy breathing, the sound of odd footsteps. I also ha...

I am just wondering what other people feel like when it comes to noises. For me it feels extremely painful, and as though I'm being ripped apart.

Yeah... I can only be taken in small doses it seems... I really hate when I start making a new friend and I begin to act more myself but then it becomes "too much".
