I usually type around 66wpm whenever I take those online typing tests, but I managed to get 80wpm last night. I've heard there's people who can type a lot faster than that.

Last I checked.. It was around 50.
My best can reach to 90... But that was years ago.

QWERTY isn't designed to type fast with due to some outdated mechanical issues -- days before the computer keyboard --when typewriters were widespread.

... There are alternative keyboards that are faster to type with, and then there's stenotyping (keyboard version of shorthand writing).

I forgot that there are other types of keyboards, that's interesting! I wonder if most people would be able to type a lot faster if those were used more.

I can type in the 90s sometimes, with maybe 2 or 3 errors (corrected). Usually in the 80s, though.

Way back when I got up to around the 30wpm mark, now it's probably about 20wpm.
Touch typing is a wonderful skill to have rather than "pecking" while looking at keys.

I haven't been tested in decades, but I think in the 90s.

I can't do numbers without looking, though. I could do them on a typewriter but not on my laptop.

86wpm on my first messy try today (had to make a lot of corrections). I have some health issues that can make my hands not cooperate. I used to type in the 100-110s+ when I was younger (took a typing class as a teen).

80's depending on the number of symbols in the typing test and the keyboard I am typing on. I can't type certain symbols without looking because I never use them often enough in real life to remember them.
