I think you definitely need to provide us with more information in order for anyone to be of assistance.

eg how much can you afford to spend? Do you need a standard sized one (15.6" screen) or something smaller (or bigger)? Do you need a powerful machine with lots of memory and processing power (if you will mainly be using it for the internet, it doesn't need to have such high specifications)? What version of Windows do you need (Windows 10 is fine for now, but will be outdated in less than four years)?

consider it an investment on the cost of the laptop.
In the long run it is cheaper to know good from bad - than to buy bad and learn the hard way by having to buy again.
However:
You can go to your local library and ask them to find the paper copy of the same if you want free.
