Hardware-wise, yeah. I have a Macbook and an iPod. My Macbook at the moment dual-boots Snow Leopard and Windows 7 (Ubuntu 10.04 to be added once it goes stable) and my iPod runs RockBox, so I am less tied to Apple software.

Yes, but I do a lot of reading on my phone and I have a lot of apps that I would like the screen to be bigger, without the hassle of getting my whole laptop out. It would be like a reader that also does apps. There have been tons of times, like now, when my phone is just not big enough. I am in bed now, checking my emails and looking online before I go to sleep, I don't want the hassle of my laptop.

if they ever decided to release their damn OS on a disc so i can build my own machine for it to work on then I would use it. I want total control over my hardware and software. This is why I dont own an apple computer/laptop or an Ipad.

on the subject of phones, why the f**k would I ever want all those damn features. To me a phone is a phone, and only needs to do the following: be able to make and recieve calls, take a message if needed, and able to recall the last 10 or so numbers that called. All of this you can do with an ordinary 'cheapo' cellphone.

now onto the subject of MP3 players. I-pods are overrated. You can find much better music players out there with the same exact features, or even more, for half the damn price. Sadly there are a lot of companies that had bought into the whole 'make everything so it only works with Ipod because apple payed us $$$$$$ to do it.'. and If im not in the mood for electronics for music, oh looky ill play guitar.

and also in reference to the I-pad, I dont need it, id much rather prefer the feel and smell of a real book.

now to those who only use apple products. It is your choice and I wont hold it against ya. All I was stating here is why "I" dont use em.

There isn't any. I leave it on there because I have HD space to spare and I enjoy one or two Windows games. When I try to actually get anything done, Windows is just a frustration.

I see. I still have XP on mine, main reason is Ghost Recon GRAW2 installed there, oh, and 3DS Max, but it's been ages since I last ran any of it, specially since I've been using more OSX 3d programs.

And about games, GRAW2 kind of sucks compared to older Ghost Recon ones, so XP is collecting dust.

btw I'm lovin' Plants vs. Zombies
