I would have become an Appler if Apple had let me get my first computer on credit many years ago, but Sears came though instead ... then people began giving me their old PCs. However, I do have an iPod and I did help pay for an Apple when my older daughter went to college.

oooh i like this!
i have had roughly 25 macs and i am only 23
started with my dad's powerbook 145b then we got a performa 630 (pish)
then we got an imac and i used the performa as my own. i soon upgraded to a quadra 650 then 800
i got a IIci (for £0.50!) and put my quadra 800 mobo in it and used an external CD drive (still got but the powersupply bit the dust a few months back. a 21 year old power supply!)
then i bought a powercenter mac clone which had 3 HD's that was a sweet comp.
then i got a powermac 8500 i think (oh yeh!)
i have had a crap load more 68k and pre g3 power pc mac's i never got a quadra 950 or 900 (drool) also never seen the fabled quadra 840av that was supposed to be amazing even years later.
then a powermac g3 desktop which i used for ages (stripped this down to just mobo HD and PS and put it in a wooden box as my amule server. fared me very well despite the blinky HD)
then a powermac g4 400 agp which i used till 2007
then i got a mac mini. i also had my dad's old powerbook titanium
now i have a sweet macbook pro unibody which i am very happy with. I kind of miss having all those mac's for their various uses but i really don't need any of them anymore.
i had a 3g 15gb ipod which lasted me 4 or 5 years now i have a 4gb ipod nano (the more squarish one)
