I use Firefox, although I have used Opera in the past, which was also decent. But IE? I wish I could delete it. It's a waste of space.

What are people's favourite extensions? I've got Ad-Block, NoScript, Image-Show-Hide (surf faster without images) and VideoDownloader (download videos from places like YouTube).

Firefox, of course. I've tried Opera, but I didn't like it as much as Firefox.

Sorry it took me so long to get to this. Here's a few to start with:

 BugMeNot: adds a context menu item that automatically fills in a false name and password for sites requiring these to log on.
 CuteMenus - Crystal SVG: this adds icons to menu items.
 DownThemAll!: a mass downloader.
 FirefoxView: load pages and links opened in IE into Firefox.
 Forecastfox Enhanced: great weather app for Firefox.

Hello,

I use Firefox since almost 2 years, before that I used Mozilla.

Tonight I'm gonna install SeaMonkey.

M$ Internet E******* (or Internut Exploder, as I now like to call it) I really need to get Firefox. More importantly I have to stop being a capitalist pig, and get Linux.

Mozilla Firefox 1.6. Better layout and better features IMO than Internet Explorer.

Me, I mainly use Firefox, and using the AdBlock extension can make browsing some sites far less annoying. The one thing I dislike in Firefox is the download manager, but still, it does what it should.

Opera, of course. Friends don't let friends use MSIE.

I used Firefox for about 6 months, but the last time I rebuilt my computer, I decided to forgo it. I just don't see enough benefit to make me want to use it. I never get viruses/spyware because I'm careful, so that's not an issue with me. And, frankly, IE is noticeably faster than FireFox.

The other browser I use a lot is Blazer on my Palm TX. Now THERE'S a truly sh***y browser. But, it does the job, and it's free (came with the Palm TX).

I'm sure if I got into Linux I'd go back to Firefox. I just don't get the religious anti-IE zeal. It's not THAT bad -- it's actually quite usable and usually works exactly as you want it to.

And there are still some sites that work only with, or at least better with, IE.

Opera. It's fast and flexible. I want to be able to turn off pointless and distracting animations and background music.

Last time I tried it, I thought Firefox was a bit clunky. Maybe because it hasn't been developed as far as Opera has.
The only time I've had to use IE is when a page had some sort of embedded PDF's.

I use Firefox but one thing that annoys me is the occasional tendancy for it to delete all my favourites
