I tried sound mixing for the first time yesterday. I mixed music with an audio track. I uploaded my vid to YouTube. Well, I hear it just fine but other people can't.. why?

People hear the music but not the voice, but when I hear it, the music is almost too soft. This is for a good cause: an organization that helps females with autism. So, I couldn't pay you to do it, but it will still be a positive thing to do.

If anyone can, please let me know and I can send you both audio files to mix.

Thanks so much to any "angel" who can do this.

I'm not sure what the problem could be. Have tried watching the video on Youtube to see how it sounds? Also it may also be helpful if you posted a link to the video.

I am guessing your player recognizes the individual tracks differently than other people's players. If that is what is actually going on, "Audacity" is a free program you can download, install and use to combine those tracks into one (stereo or mono) so the levels you set will be the same in any player. I have never actually done that myself, but I can help you get Audacity running if you decide to try that.

Hi. Yes, I used Audacity to do the one I'm talking about.. and I also listened to it on YouTube and I'm not hearing what others are.. which is why I don't know how to correct.

I had to disable the video and our director doesn't want it re-released until Sept now.

Can anyone make a mixed audio track that sounds the same on various pc's?

i have some experience of mixing music, but im not sure what ur asking.
could u post a link to the vid, and also describe what is wrong with the current sound (ie what you want changed) ?

i dont use Audacity btw, i use Cubase, but you have to pay for that.

ideally, i you want me to mix the stuff for you (instead of mixing it urself), you could upload the audio files to an FTP server, or compress them and send via an email attachment

Well, I had to disable the video.. I set it on "private-invitation only." If you think you might be able to help, can you PM me your email address so I can let you in to see it? I could also then send both audio files to your address. Thanks so much!

I have Audacity too. I have tried mixing sounds, but its kind of hard to do so I almost gave up.
