I'm a new computer science major. I'm pretty pissed at the object-oriented approach, but I want to program forever, so as part of my studies, I'm looking to go beyond the HTML I learned way back in the 90'sand actually catch up with the real world. Machine language is all very well and good, but if I want to pursue this (and I do), it's practical knowledge that I need.

That said, I'm so much a beginner in the web field. Can anyone direct me towards a great host for my site? I don't imagine it will ever become data heavy; I like to keep things efficient. And yes, I am willing to pay for hosting.

I'm currently using HostGator webhosting but it might cost too much for you.
I only chose it for the unlimited space as I host multiple sites and have lots of stuff for them.

Look into NearlyFreeSpeech.NET - they might be what you're looking for.
