Any recommendations on improving the image quality? I bought the component cables and they helped a little bit but it could use a heck of a lot more improvement.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

now i havent tried netflix but i have tried youtube and it seems the flash software of the wii leaves a lot to be desired,
try searching for an update or alternative if netlix uses flash.

The Wii can't do HD video output. I use a Roku 2 XD box for high-definition streaming video to my 1080p HDTV. If you have the XBox 260 or PlayStation 3, I think both of those can do HD.

Wii is limited to 480p. Use a smaller TV. :)

the 360 and ps3 can handle higher resolutions.

i would sugget comparing the image quality to a game, that way you can see if its flash or simply the resolution being too low.
