question on Google Chrome-- "enhanced text"

When I use Google Chrome on my computer and "hover" the cursor or arrow over the word that is underlined in green, an "enhanced text" ad comes up. This does not happen, as far as I know, on my dad's and brother's computers, which also have Google Chrome. Can this be turned off?
