I found out yesturday my Alienware Aurora M9700 had a Windows Media Center Remote IR Sensor in the Left Speaker section. The Remote is a HP Media Center Remote I picked up sometime back in a Thrift Store. I was using it on my Tower that has the USB IR Sensor for the Remote but I notice my laptop was actting weird it was clicking Link etc. so I right clicked on something and did the Direction buttons.

There's a lot of unused hardware in computers for one reason or another. And it is interesting to note just how much of it is out there.
