Got some time spare over the next few months?

From March 5th to June 8th MIT is offering an award bearing undergraduate course in circuits and electronics completely free of charge.

Education from the best in the world, completely free, delivered straight to your desk.

Sweet.

Sorry to bump my own thread but I'm surprised this generate a bit more interest, maybe I picked a bad title or didn't explain it very well.

1) It is free.
2) It is from the best university on the planet for electronics.
3) It is award bearing, you actually get a pretty piece of paper from MIT if you pass it.

And erm, nobody gives a toss? It's like pearls before swine... 8O

sorry, no insult intended for you, but it is too advanced for this maths-phobic addled brain. otherwise i'd jump on it with both feet like i would for anything that was free ['cept for kittens/puppies]

At the cost of free, you risk nothing by trying. There are plenty of free resources on the internet for the level of maths required and a forum full of people on the course who would help you with the basic maths.

It is also a prototype course, a test of the format by MIT so they would probably be very flexible with time allowances for autistic people if you start to struggle.
