Light, being energy, can theoretically be converted to matter, due to "E=mc^2".

Stars are mostly Hydrogen and Helium, and fuse elemental nuclei at their cores. Planets are mostly heavier elements, and do not fuse elements at their cores. Stars and planets are not the same thing.

That image was most likely depicting the Earth very early in it's existence as molten lava.

I've had a few breakthrough idea's upon waking from a dream. Which could revolutionize something and make me rich beyond my wildest dreams...

Which I forget upon awaking, luckily... I'm sure they where quite strange.

Lots of random thoughts come through my mind at random times. However, there are two ideas that have interested me the most.

One being the ability to solidify light. My genius sibling said that's impossible, but it still bugs me to the point that I keep thinking about it. I'm not sure why, I usually drop things the moment they are refuted by others.

The most related I have heard is to reducing the speed of light (the actual speed of photons, not the speed of light in vacuum  ) in a Bose-Einstein condensate. For example in http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/1999/02.18/light.html

Second, planets being another phase of a star. One that lies between low density and high density stars. Medium density stars in other words. I think I thought that because when I saw early pictures of earth portrayed by artists, it looked as if it were a star's surface.

So yeah, any feedback as to why I keep feeling something with these ideas? Please no negative feedback, I've had enough of that in my life. Unless it's logical enough to possibly put my mind at ease.

Stars have a raging fusion reaction going on in their core because of the gravitational crunch produced by their mass. Planets do not. Dream on.
