Info available on that here. Unfortunately, the Stable release is still about 6 months away, and it appears as if it will be running the 3.2 kernel instead of something more current.

And sid/unstable can be a little unstable for desktop use. Packages break packages regularly in sid.

Yeah, that's because they're always changing the repositories for it.
