Daylight saving time.

Games that let you pause everywhere except for cutscenes.

Many movies being subdued by CGI and special effects instead of a real plot.

Organized religion.

Drinking culture being glorified in society.

Too much focus on superficial appearances rather than real personal qualities.

The idea of being "normal"

Gaming companies of the 90's thinking interactive movie games were the future with the likes of the Mega CD, 3DO, and CD-i.

Games of the CD-i sucked horribly but at least people on YouTube make great YouTube Poops out of them.

That plastic you get on dvds/games/cds. It's so hard to get off, it's pointless anyway. Even more pointless would be that sticky bit over xbox cases that is under the impossible plastic. Also, pale pink shirts for men, what were people thinking there?

The Zelda series and the Hotel Mario cut scenes are particularly hilarious. As is Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, one of the worst made games I've ever seen, its so bad its funny!

Its pretty easy to get off, with the use of a small knife or something similar. For some games (especially older releases) they can be collectors items to have still sealed.

tops has to be the internal combustion engine. like putting out poisonous gases isn't bad enough, it also lured us into basing our civilization on a short-term nonrenewable resource!

further down: chairs.

Dynamite wasn't intended to be used as a weapon at first it was an attempt to make mining safer.

A modern innovation: using words such as "Islamophobia" in order to paralyze debate.

Yes, they used to use nitroglycerine but it was relatively unstable and prone to explode if knocked too hard. (I used to make it in my mischievous teens for fun). Someone discovered that if the nitroglycerine was absorbed onto an inert material (called keiselgur if memory serves correctly) and shaped into sticks the nitroglycerine was much more stable. This form of nitroglycerine was named dynamite. However, if it gets too warm the nitroglycerine begins to "sweat" from the dynamite and it becomes unstable again.

The Windows start-button on computer keyboards. I never use it. It ruined gaming (Doom) when it was first introduced as the Ctrl and Alt keys were used a lot at the time and sticking this useless key in the middle of them just got in the way.

Seriously, I play a game and then a long cutscene starts. My parents call me to do something and I can't pause the game and I don't want to skip the cutscene either otherwise it would ruin the flow of my gameplay and the cutscene is half over and my parents get impatient saying "NOW!! !" and I'm like "Come on!" so I turn the game off instead. Everything is ruined.
