Is there any way to flag a post as spam to bring it to the attention of the moderators?

i dont think it is spam, only someone happy to have registered what seems like a premium domain name.

unfortunately its credibility is already somewhat tainted by association, few of the earn cash schemes are anything more than a scam, it might scare people away even before they visit.

Looks like the registration hasn't officially completed yet though. It still shows the previous owner of the domain:

Declaring his registration on WP may not be a good idea if he values his privacy once the WhoIs record gets updated to show his name and address! @mmcool if you decide this thread is a bad idea let me know and I'll remove it for you.

I agree about the domain name. It sounds like one of those generic scam sites and I certainly wouldn't trust a site with that name.

Good to see you were wise enough to invest in the privacy option.

kudos

Definitely! Especially after declaring ownership on this site here where Google searches are going to link his site with his account here.

I've had my own domain for fifteen years and never mentioned its name here and never will. I keep my business totally separate from WP.

This thread is now No2 in a Google search of your domain name.

I remember stories back when the internet was "new" of people buying domain names in hopes they'll be bought from them at crazy prices... some people registered hundreds of names (especially "sexy" ones) and porn companies would buy them from him for huge profit. :P

Those days are pretty much long gone...

nah,

it just resembles the stock market today, people buy and sell premium packages and lookalikes for outrageous sums only to uy them for a penny when the fad blows over, years later the vycle repeats.
