Hello, I'm not sure if the Computer Games subforum would have been a more appropriate for this question but , I'm trying to create a mod for an Xbox 60 game (Mortal Kombat 9) that would give me the option to activate a slow motion mode in single player. In GTA V there's a cheat to slow down time by a factor of 4x or 8x and my aim is to modify the code in MK 9 to do just that, record a match in slow motion and then use Windows Movie Maker to bring the video back to normal speed. I've already done this with GTa V, the effect is pretty cool and I'll post a a video clip of that. I have a vague idea of how modifying a game might work (in that I have to copy the source code from the disk to my computer, open it in a modding program, add extra lines of code and then write the updates onto the disk) but I guess my question is if this is feasible to do with this particular game and for someone to do with little programming experience.

First of all. good luck getting the source code for that game. And second, as far as I know, there is no modding for the Xbox 360. Microsoft really locked down that console and any attempt to mod it will result in getting ban from Xbox live. Your best bet is to look for some kind of Game Genie cheating device or program. But I think you're gonna be hard pressed to find anything. especially for the 360.
