My computer's mouse has been doubling clicking everything it single clicks and I don't know what to do. I open two browsers at the same time. I open two tabs at the same time. When I click on an option and there's something beneath it when it disappears, I end up bring that up too like when I right click on a link a click left click "open in a new tab", if that option is beneath the link, a new tab is opened and the current tab is opened with the link. When I close a tab, I end up closing two tabs. When there are only two tabs and I close one, it closes the whole browser. I don't want any of that. When all I want to do is highlight an icon, I end up activating it. Sometimes, I can never drag and drop anymore.

Yes, I've tried fiddling with the mouse options, but that didn't work.

This usually indicates that your mouse needs to either be cleaned or replaced.

How do I go about cleaning it? I blow into it and it still does this.

Is it an optical mouse or does it have a roller-ball in the bottom?

You may have to have a professional disassemble it and blow it out with canned dry air.  Using your breath may deposit moisture on the parts you are trying to clean.  Moisture attracts dust.

Computer mice are cheap.  You may be better off to buy a new one.

You'll need to replace the switches in the mice. Depends on how expensive your mouse is to whether its worth replacing or not.
