Could you explain? I don't have a spare 15 minutes.

I use tea tree oil in my hair, I really like the smell of it.

I've been meaning to make a peppermint oil spider spray, but haven't bothered yet. Meanwhile, the spiders roam freely =(

Yeah, they are kind of expensive.
I don't use mine as medicine, though. Except for a little eucalyptus in the vaporizer once in a great while.

I don't use essential oils for their alleged medicinal qualities, but for their aromas.

I have used essential oils and found them to be beneficial. Most essential oils are not dangerous if they applied topically to the skin or used in aromatherapy.

The word essential here means "having the essence of" the plant that the oil is extracted from.

The word essential here does not mean "required".

Though I would not be surprised to learn that the ambiguity of this "essential" branding was deliberate deception - to get more people to buy..
