^ So I show the last joke to my son - and he wants to know why it says "angle of attack".
So I explain to him how this is a technical term from aviation.

So now we are in a discussion of the applicability of the use of the word "attack" in this context, and whether or not it is a language hold-over from WWII flyers or the phrase, perhaps, has some relationship to the life-or-death situation a pilot must face when trying to keep his plane aloft and avoid a (wing) stall.
I am now thinking that I am not so amused as I was when I started to show him this meme.
The pony-tail thing - he got that.
